Community meeting for Almono riverfront

Join the Hazelwood project partners for an update on February 24

You’re invited to join the Almono development team for an update on one of Pittsburgh’s most exciting riverfront developments.

Located on 178 acres of riverfront next to the Hazelwood neighborhood, Almono proposes a mixed used development that will reconnect Hazelwood’s urban street grid to a riverfront that has been cut off from the community for generations. The project is also primed to set a new standand for stormwater capture and treatment, sustainability, alternative energy use, public open space and connectivity to the regional trail and riverfront park systems.

To find out the latest about the project, you’re invited to attend a community meeting:

Fire Union Hall, 120 Flowers Avenue
Food at 6:00 pm, Meeting begins at 6:30 pm.

According to the Almono partners and development manager RIDC, meeting topics will include:

▶Phase 1 buildings
▶Site sustainability goals
▶Transportation update
▶Timeline of the work
