Riverlife is proud to announce that our President and CEO, Matthew Galluzzo, has been chosen to represent Southwest Pennsylvania by First Lady Frances Wolf for the “One Lens” virtual photo exhibition documenting the story of Pennsylvania throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Matt is one of five ambassadors chosen to represent regions across the Commonwealth.

First Lady Wolf announced the virtual photo exhibition this week as a celebration of the hard work of all Pennsylvanians amidst adversity brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The photo exhibit will cover three themes:

— Our Heroes, paying homage to the pandemic heroes who cannot stay home;
— Our Lives, looking at how we spend our time when no one is watching; and
— Our Communities, showcasing Pennsylvanians uniting in the face of a global health crisis.

During the pandemic, more people than ever turned to Southwestern PA’s riverfronts and outdoor open spaces for relief and wellness. As an ambassador for the exhibition, Matt will work with the other four regional representatives to ensure the photos chosen will represent our resilient communities and diverse experiences across the Commonwealth.

Photo submissions open on Monday, February 8, 2021 and remain open through Monday, March 8, 2021. The full exhibit will be released on Friday, March 19, 2021. For more information, visit https://www.pa.gov/one-lens/

We can’t wait to see what the talented creatives of Pittsburgh and beyond come up with to represent Southwest PA!
