Ciao, bella! Riverlife’s Party at the Pier: Riviera Dolce, presented by PNC, welcomed a sold-out crowd of 900 to Rivers Casino to raise over $250,000 for Pittsburgh’s riverfronts on Friday, August 17.
Riverlife’s 9th annual fundraiser celebration has emerged as one of the can’t-miss events of the summer. Even when pouring rain and thunderstorms swept into Pittsburgh the morning of the event and dictated a last-minute change to move the entire party indoors, the weather outside couldn’t compete with the energy inside the Rivers Casino ballrooms. Guests danced next to vintage Vespas, sipped limoncello and celebrated the sweet life by the water which includes over 800 acres of reclaimed public open space throughout Pittsburgh’s downtown riverfronts.
