Just think…in 1999 none of this was here.

Amazing before-and-after video of Pittsburgh’s riverfronts

Pittsburgh had no North Shore. No renovated Point State Park. No river access at the Mon Wharf, SouthSide Works, Station Square or the Convention Center.

Riverlife was founded in 1999 to create a master plan for Pittsburgh’s changing waterfronts.

With your support, Riverlife works with property owners, developers, elected officials and community groups to bring the very best to Pittsburgh’s downtown riverfronts. New  public parks. Trail connections. Boat landings. Beautiful buildings that interact with the waterfront. Outdoor recreation amenities. Restored river ecology.

Pittsburgh’s riverfronts are the future of the city. Thanks for being part of the transformation.
