Riverlife seeks volunteers for our upcoming fundraiser Riverlife’s Party at the Pier: Riviera Dolce on Friday, August 17! Here’s a chance to support our work on the riverfronts AND earn a free ticket to one of the best parties of the year. Read on for our specific volunteer needs. All volunteers must be 21 and older.
Volunteer Group #1 (five people needed):
10:00 am – 12:00 pm, Friday August 17 at Rivers Casino riverfront
Volunteers report to the upper riverfront promenade outside the Rivers Casino building promptly at 9:30 am. Duties include assisting with decorating and decor assembly. Some light lifting may be involved (up to 50 lbs). Please wear comfortable clothes with close-toed shoes.
Volunteer Group #2 (four people needed):
6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Friday August 17 at Rivers Casino riverfront
Volunteers report to the central beverage tent on the upper promenade promptly at 5:30 pm. Duties include lightly prepping the event space before doors open to guests, then assisting with Riverlife’s raffle and on-site donations. Friendly and outgoing personalities are a plus. Please come dressed for the event (dress code is “jetsetter chic”/summertime business casual)
Volunteer Group #3 (five people needed):
10:30 pm-midnight, Friday August 17 at Rivers Casino riverfront
Volunteers should be on-site at 10:30 pm and report to the central beverage tent on the upper promenade promptly at 11:00 pm. Duties include assisting with loading Riverlife decor and signage onto a truck and other light cleanup. Some lifting may be involved (up to 75 lbs). Comfortable clothes with close-toed shoes are recommended for this volunteer shift.
Each volunteer receives one general admission ticket to the event. Free parking is available during all volunteer shifts in the Rivers Casino garage. Volunteer spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
