Chief Operating Officer
Valerie Fleisher is Chief Operating Officer at Riverlife, where she oversees all operational and administrative functions. She has 18 years experience in nonprofit administration, focusing on the arts, higher education, and community development. Prior to joining Riverlife, she was Director of Operations for Lawrenceville Corporation and Co-Director of City of Bridges Community Land Trust. She also has nonprofit administration experience in museums, performing arts centers, and operating an independent two-year cartoon college in Vermont. Valerie earned her BA in American Literature from Barnard College and an MA in American Studies from The University of Virginia. She lives in Mt. Lebanon with her husband, two children, and their dog, Luna.
Valerie also serves as riverfront accessibility coordinator.
