Valerie Fleisher
Chief Operating Officer
Valerie Fleisher joined Riverlife as Chief Operating Officer in 2019 as a key member of the leadership team responsible for developing organizational systems and overseeing operational and administrative functions. She brings more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit administration, with a background in the arts, higher education, and community and economic development. Prior to Riverlife, Valerie was Director of Operations for Lawrenceville Corporation and Co-Director of City of Bridges Community Land Trust. Additional professional experience includes the Museum of Jewish Heritage in NYC, Hopkins Center for the Arts at Dartmouth College, and The Center for Cartoon Studies in White River Junction, VT. She lives with her family in Mt. Lebanon, where she serves as Vice President of the School Board. Valerie earned a BA in American Literature from Barnard College, a MA in American Studies from The University of Virginia, and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Marlboro College Graduate School.
