What should I bring?
Please bring your own lawn chairs, picnic blankets, water or snacks. Prepare for a whimsical and engaging evening!
What happens if it rains?
Performances will happen rain or shine, but severe weather conditions may impact the troupe’s ability to perform. Check Riverlife’s social media channels for any specific information on the day of each performance.
Are the performances free?
Yes, all performances are free to the public. Donations will be accepted to support the troupe’s 2024 Ohio River tour.
Is there parking available?
Yes, there is parking available near each performance location. Riverlife and Flotsam suggest walking, biking, taking public transportation, or teleportation to best support the environment, but recognize that this is not possible for everyone.
- Point State Park / Allegheny Amphitheater: The nearest parking is available on the Monongahela Wharf. Additional parking is available throughout downtown Pittsburgh and on the North Side.
- South Shore Riverfront Park: The nearest parking is available at South Side Town Square (street parking) or the Ingot Parking Garage or South Side Works Open Hearth Garage.
- North Shore Great Lawn: The nearest parking is available at North Shore Drive (street parking) or the Gold Lot 2.
What are the appropriate ages for this performance?
The show is kid-friendly, but all ages will be engaged by this floating circus.
What is the Ohio River tour?
The Ohio River Tour will take the Flotsam River Circus from Pittsburgh to Paducah, with 38 performances in 29 cities from August 16-September 29, 2024.
