PJ joins the Riverlife staff with nine years of small nonprofit experience in northeast Ohio, largely focused on operations and development. Beginning as an Intern and growing to Assistant Director, PJ’s work with Sheldon Calvary Camp focused on establishing and improving internal systems, helping to promote and develop a culture of servant leadership, and providing strategic and administrative support to annual fund and capital campaign efforts.
He has a Bachelor of Science degree from James Madison University in Integrated Science and Technology and a Master of Camp Administration and Leadership from Touro University of Nevada. Both programs focus on how different systems interact with one another in a real-world environment.
Never one to be stagnant, PJ is very excited for the many opportunities to be engaged in the latest transformation of his hometown, Pittsburgh. He also looks forward to enjoying the plethora of outdoor opportunities in the region, especially those in Three Rivers Park. Additionally, PJ holds an American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor certification, is a regular blood donor, and a member of the Be The Match Marrow Registry.
